The BREWERY - belonging to our hotel

 


 

Since 1989, the age-old Rinteln’s brewing tradition has been revived in the first brewery of Rinteln located within our premises. Twice a week, state certified master brewers locally produce a naturally cloudy and amazing full-bodied beer made of hops, barley and malt. Approximately 80 brews are produced per year with 15 hectolitres each.

The copper vats can be admired by our guests in our rustic and really cozy brewery lounge.

 

As mentioned above, our “Hartinger Master Brew” is produced on the basis of grain being organically cultivated and malted with ecological hops (called ‘Hallertau’ and ‘Tettnang’).

 

The following kinds are brewed:

  •  “HARTINGER ÖKO DUNKEL”- dark beer; original wort: 13,5 %;
    alcohol content: 4,5 % - being served all the year round.
  •  “HARTINGER ÖKO HELL”- lager; original wort: 12,5 %;
    alcohol content: 4,5 % - being served all the year round.
  •  “HARTINGER ERNTEWEIZEN”, i.e. a light, very fizzy beer made by using wheat, malt and top-fermentation yeast; original wort: 12,5 %;
    alcohol content: 4,5 % - being served as of Good Friday until September.

 

Furthermore, please note that we also produce beers for any kinds of anniversary and special festive days for whatever opportunities.
